Drooling Hillbilly Metal, Sea Urchin Psychedelia, Yukon Freak Thrash, and Beatnik Swamp Drone are musical genres, like dozens of others, which are in the infancy of their developments. Yet someone has finally harnessed the inside track to claiming a few of these elusive styles as their own creations. AFCGT is a rather convenient vernacular for A Frames and Climax Golden Twins but if you’re hopeful that the usual sources are stocked with facts and figures about this outfit, think again. There’s not much information available on AFCGT.

With 3 electric guitars, a bass guitar, and a drum kit they manage to emulate the decaying soundtrack of an international airport with all the trimmings; accidental runway collisions, air traffic control extremism, unauthorized handling of cargo, and ~censored~ passengers at checkpoint screenings.

Dont even bother trying to fathom the name,
its a bottomless game. Heres what we do know:
Topping Bottoms are a loose liberated squad of
itinerant Tokyo drifters that traffic in a billowing,
burned out brand of post-millenial psych-loitering
that feels like someone slow-motion shattering a lava
lamp over yr skull and letting the fluorescent slime
drip-drop into yr eyes. That good/weird. Featuring
sometime members of an odd constellation of other
projects (Ainotamenishis, Evangelista, Duchesses, etc),
the semi-steady TB line-up (Kate, Masaki, Tracy, Ryo)
wields shadow-sleaze PSF guitar licks over dark drugged
drumming lightly splattered with Bore-junk electronic
sludge. Towers Of Spines is actually a reconfigured and
re-sequenced version of an earlier OOP self-released CDR
(on Ryos own Create Evil imprint) but packed out with a
fresh unreleased live cut tracked at a riotous spring
2008 performance. Tapes come in insane double-sided
fold-out silkscreened j-cards designed by Ryo which are
in turn housed in stunning exterior cassingle-style art
shells, all done up in a spectrum of shades and art-paper
variations. Basically: the visual quotient on this tape
is huge. Edition of 150.

Walking With Strangers is the third studio album by Canadian rock band The Birthday Massacre. The album was released on September 10th, 2007 in North America and September 21st, 2007 in Europe. The album was sold early at a Canadian show on the 5th, the next day high quality torrent versions showed up online.
The song “To Die For” is a reworked and rerecorded version of the track of the same name that appeared on the band’s first album, Nothing and Nowhere, in 2002.

Nothing and Nowhere is a 2002 album by Canadian band The Birthday Massacre. It is their first official studio release. The album was re-released in 2004 with new artwork due to high demand. Original pressings of the release sell for high prices to collectors on eBay. Reworked and rerecorded tracks of “Happy Birthday,” “Horror Show,” “Video Kid,” and “The Dream” appear on their 2004 release Violet, but only the LP version.

A reworked and rerecorded version of “To Die For” later appeared on the band’s 2007 album Walking with Strangers.

Singer with band from Keerbergen, sometimes referred to as “Buffalo
Tom Helsen”.

Tom Helsen was discovered in 1996, when he had been practising on his
first guitar for only about a year or two, during the Humo’s Rock
Rally of that year. Through a number of self-written songs and an
impressive cover-versionof the song Hotellounge of dEUS, Tom Helsen
landed a terrific second place, behind Novastar (but in front of An
PierlΘ and Arid). The jury concluded that “Tom Helsen is a solo-man
who brings songs that touch you, and who knows that a good song does
not need to filled with layer upon layer of superfluous
guitar-picking

In Belgiδ is Tom Helsen al een gevestigde naam, in Nederland kreeg
hij voet aan de grond met de track жNight And DayЖ dat Helsen schreef
voor het solo project van Regi. жNight And DayЖ werd bij onze
zuiderburen dΘ zomerhit van 2008. De eerste single van het album Home
is het gelijknamige titelnummer. De single жHomeЖ heeft in Nederland
al op steun mogen rekenen van o.a. 3FM (Giel Beelen) en Q-Music. Het
nummer is opgenomen met Geike Arnaert (voorheen zangeres van de
Belgische popgroep Hooverphonic). In Belgiδ heeft жHomeЖ maar liefst
